Modify Properties of M$ Word Files

3 posts in this topic

Hi,

I have a huge database of .doc files in a folder.

I need to do some modification for SharePoint.

I need to modify a propertie of all word files : The name of the document in the Details Tab.

Is there a way to do that with AutoIt ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

Use function _WordDocPropertySet from the Word UDF.

This doesn't support all properties (especially of newer Word versions). If you run into problems try it yourself:

; $oDoc = Word document object
; $vProperty = Name or number of the property to set
; $vNewvalue = guess ;)
$oDoc.BuiltInDocumentProperties($vProperty).value = $vNewvalue
