I can do send("#r") and it brings up the run command.

But I want send("#") to bring up the metro interface. It seems to do nothing.

Really I would like to put a au3 into the startup or have a registry key in the run folder that points to the au3. I'd like it to send("#d") so that once the computer logs in, it bypasses metro directly to the desktop.

Its weird because I was trying to do the send ("{CAPSLOCK on}") and it would turn on for a second and then turn back off. I have no idea why....

I just checked and with the flag set to 1 it sends a # key instead of a windows key. I think that WIndows 8 is set to only listen to real windows key presses and not emulated ones for the metro to desktop interface. If someone could confirm or provide syntax that would work that would be awesome.

The caps lock idea was to find out when the script is running. But because I got to see the metro interface do a search for "#" I got to see when the script runs and it is well after the metro interface comes up. It was my previous worry that it was running before I even got to the metro interface.

Those websites (are full of spam, I can't even find the real download link) say these applications are from websites that are very fishy.... Something is wrong with this
