how to distinguish between local user and domain user?

Recommended Posts

kor

@username will give me the name of the current user.

However if I log in as the local administrator, or a domain administrator both usernames are "administrator"

Is there a way to distinguish between local administrator and domain administrator?

Or some other check I can do to see if the current user is a local user or domain user?

Check macros @LogonDNSDomain (Logon DNS Domain), @LogonDomain (Logon Domain) or @LogonServer (Logon server). One of them has the value of @ComptuerName if logged on as a local user.
