By using the function DirCopy I presume.

OS : Win XP SP2 (32 bits) / Win 7 SP1 (64 bits) / Win 8 (64 bits) | Autoit version: latest stable / beta.
Hardware : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10Ghz / 8 GiB RAM DDR3.

You can't do string interpolation in AutoIt, you must pass the variable itself like this :

DirCopy("D:\My Web Sites\CD\software", $dir)

As always: If your script doesn't do what you want it to do, do some error checking.

Every function sets a return value, @error or @extended. The help file describes what the function returns on success and what in case of an error.
