tonyatcodeleakers Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ok, so iv read through the help file for StringRegExp and the explanations for the terms that can be used to find patterns (eg [^:class:], (?i..) ), but im still lost. So my main question,is could someone link me to an in depth tutorial for the use of StringRegExp that has explanations of the Terms that can be used with it to find patterns, and if one doesn't exists could someone provide help on understanding it?

GEOSoft wrote a PCRE helper which you can download from http://www.autoit.mvps.org/ - look for the "Applications" item on the left hand side. I find it very useful for testing. And good luck. SREs are probably the hardest thing I have ever tried to master in computing - my brain still bleeds every time I try to create a complex one.
