webchaos
Hi guys, I am trying to add a new UAC exemption for a new program's updater to a group of machines. however when I run the command below i get a prompt saying sdbinst not found. ;RunAsWait("username", @computername,"password", 0, @ComSpec & " /K /C " & "sdbinst.exe AppWhiteList.sdb") What is wrong with this call? Thanks in advance
water
Welcome to AutoIt and the forum! According to the help file you need to specify the full path to the program. BrewManNH
Are you running the script on an x64 OS but compiling it as x86? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. water
Maybe you need to decide which of the @ComSpec switches you want to use. /K stands for "keep" and /C for "close" after the specified program has been run. They are mutually exclusive.
