gidstelios Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I have an edit control were I can set the number of characters that can be hold in general but when it comes to increase the number of columns (characters per line) of that control I have difficulties finding a work around... any help would be greattly appreciated. Default characters per line an edit can hold is 1024 after that the control performs automatically a line break, all this is on AutoIt v3.2.12.1.
water Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Why don't you grade up to the most current version 3.3.8.1? You won't get help for such an old version. Moderators Melba23 Posted December 7, 2013 Moderators Posted December 7, 2013 gidstelios,I agree entirely with water about updating. Version 3.2.12.1 was released in June 2008 - nearly 5 1/2 years ago! I think that of the long-term members only Zedna still uses that version so unless he pops in you are very unlikely to get any help for questions specifically relating to it. Why on earth are you still using such an old version anyway? Do you not want to profit from the massive enhancements to the language that have occurred since then? But your current problem is a Windows limitation and not an Autoit one - as I explained here.
