I need to download data from my application to Excel using AutoIT. I have tried using Java Code but not able to download the Excel file. Can anyone help me out writing the AUtoIT script to download the data from my application to Excel file.

Here is my code:

;Exact location of WebSite from where we would like to download the file.We are reading url from commandline
$URL ="https://www.creditsolution.com/dasdetail.aspx"

;Local address to which we would like to download the file
$filename = "C:/Users/Umamaheshwar/Downloads/scenario.xls"
InetGet ($URL, $filename , 1, 0)
WinActivate("[CreditSolution.com]", "ctl00_MasterPlaceHolder_ImgExcel")
ControlClick("[CreditSolution.com]","","Save")

Help will be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Mahesh

UmamaheshwarThota,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

But please pay attention to where you post - the "Examples" section where you started this thread is clearly marked: "This is NOT a general support forum!". I have moved the thread for you, but would ask you to be more careful in future. ;)

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum!

AutoIt comes with an UDF (User Defined Functions Library) for Excel. Take a look at the help file for the available functions. _ExcelWriteSheetFromArray might be a good starting point.

Just ask if you encounter problems :)
