function key

i m trying to make program when i press a HotKeySet for EX:- (F5) and it starts the function for EX :-(Send("{LSHIFT})), but then when i press a different HotKeySet for EX:- (F6) it will stop that LSHIFT key  function and when i press the first HotKeySet again and it should start the function again. if someone knows how to do this it will be a great help!

HotKeySet("{F5}", "startshift")

Func startshift()
    Send("{LSHIFT}")
EndFunc

now i need to off this function using

HotKeySet("{F6}", "stopshift")

In short: Set a flag when F5 is pressed, reset the flag when F6 is pressed and only send LSHIFT when the flag is set.
