I guess you can't use WinGetText because FireFox/Chrome do not use ordinary Windows Controls.

Search the Example Scripts forum for Firefox or Chrome UDF.

Using autoit window info, chrome seems to have only 1 window named Chrome_WidgetWin_1 , im trying to read the text of all the controls but it seems i cant reach the controls.

Same goes with Firefox.

Im trying to use GetWindowText function to read the "visible text" in Chrome/Firefox.

Any idea how to overcome this ?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
