(The name of the file is Music Theory.xlsx) Any help is highly appreciate. Please have a look at my rewrite of the Excel UDF (download link can be found in my signature). Local $oExcel = _ExcelBookOpen($sFilePath1) $oExcel = _ExcelBookOpen("$sFilePath1, 0") ; Open Excell in the background The second one is also written wrong, you need to lose the quotes around the parameters. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
