Basically what happens the program opens an excel document and does various tasks, saving the document on certain events. However

_ExcelBookSave returns 1 even if it fails to save. For example I closed the excel document and triggered a save event and the messegebox said 1. The reason im using a $saveTest instead of @error is i thought maybe that was causing the issue for whatver reason, but obviously it isnt.

Any ideas?

func _save ()

      local $saveTest = _ExcelBookSave($DBFile)

      msgbox(0,"TEST",$saveTest)

      if $saveTest = 0 then

        msgbox(4096,"ERROR","Failed to save database file, you should probably call ????")

        endif

      endfunc
