Help with replacing Excel to the Excel Rewrite UDF

9 posts in this topic

I don't want to mess something so wanted to ask.

Do I replace the Excel.au3 and just add the functions in my include folder for me to be able to use all of these functions?

Thanks!

Use the latest AutoIt beta version. The rewrite of the Excel UDF is included.

I ran the set up for the beta.exe and saw I have the Beta folder in my AutoIt3 folder now.

How do I tell my script to use the beta functions rather than the others?

Select "Tools" in SciTE to run or compile using the beta version.

Hey Water.  If I am using _ExcelReadSheetToArray that's not in beta do I just need to find a similar way to do this in the beta functions?

Thanks!

Thanks again Water!  I much prefer these excel functions over just coding straight VBA.  Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to these!
