girishrama
I am trying to close the excel window using the following code. WinClose("Microsoft Excel") WinWaitActive("Microsoft Excel", "&save") Send("!n") For some reason The save window pops up but does not close everything. I typed something after WinWaitActive and before WinWaitActive and found that everything only before WinWaitActive executes, so I think that is where the problem is. So why does it not recognize the window when I type in: WinWaitActive("Microsoft Excel", "&save") I AM able to close notepad but not excel: WinClose ("Untitled - Notepad") WinWaitActive ("Notepad", "Save") Send("!n")
13lack13lade
Do you have the latest version of autoit? You can use direct Excel commands rather than using winclose etc... See autoit help file for _Excelbookopen and _excelbookclose Additional information can be found here: http://www.autoitscript.com/wiki/Excel_UDF Edited July 15, 2014 by 13lack13lade
