  • I am unable to loop the below code with the above given example... need help !!!

Welcome to the AutoIt forums. :)

We prefer people not to necro-post in 6 year old threads. Much better to open a new thread and link to the old one. ;)

We ask you to do this for two main reasons:

 

- 1. The language advances and the functionality might well be included in core or UDF code by now

- 2. The changes in language syntax mean that it is likely that code from more than a couple of years ago may well not run under the current release interpreter without significant modification.

And as there is now a very good Excel UDF in AutoIt I am sure you will be able to do what you want to do much more easily using that then depending on send & Mouseclick. ;)

As Melba noted it is (most of the time) better to use the API provided by the program you try to automate than to automate the GUI using Send etc.

So please have a look at the Excel UDF and don't hesitate to ask if something is unclear :)
