Reading from a word document

Recommended Posts

I am trying to read something from a word document and write something into a console.

It is not giving out actual English letters.

#include <Excel.au3>
#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>
#include <String.au3>

$fh = FileOpen("C:action.docx", 0)
If @error Then MsgBox(0, "Status for FileOpen", "Error is " & @error & " and Extended is " & @extended)
$string = FileRead($fh)
If @error Then MsgBox(0, "Status for FileRead", "Error is " & @error & " and Extended is " & @extended)
$entire = _StringBetween($string, " ", " ")
If @error Then MsgBox(0, "_StringBetween", "Error is " & @error & " and Extended is " & @extended)
For $s In $entire
    ConsoleWrite ($s & @CRLF)
Next
ConsoleWrite(@CRLF)

It is instead giving some characters that I can't make out. How exactly are you supposed to extact a string from a word document?
