wisem2540 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I am using ObjGet to return a collection of every Printer on a workstation. Is there a way to display this? Similar to _ArrayDisplay? Or can I convert it to an Array for display purposes? Thanks
Moderators Solution JLogan3o13 Posted February 4, 2015 Moderators Solution Posted February 4, 2015 Usually with a collection, like a SQL or WMI query, I find I have to cycle through the collection and manually populate an array. For a list of printers though, I do this: #include <Array.au3> Local $aPrinters[0] $sPC = @ComputerName $oWMI = ObjGet("winmgmts:{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\" & $sPC & "\root\cimv2") $colPrinters = $oWMI.ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_Printer") For $sPrinter In $colPrinters _ArrayAdd($aPrinters, $sPrinter.Name) Next _ArrayDisplay($aPrinters) "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. wisem2540 Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Yeah, I did that too. I was hoping there was a better way. Thanks
water Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 The _ArrayAdd solution is working, right? By "better" you mean "faster" or "less lines of code" or ...?
