AutoItX for .NET's pixel search seems to be broken

Recommended Posts

So i used AutoIt info tool to get the following info

Position: 930, 445

Color : 0x1B4F9B

and then i tried

AutoItX.PixelSearch(new Rectangle(0,0, 1920, 1080), 0x1B4F9B)

I got

{X = 0 Y = 0}
    IsEmpty: true
    X: 0
    Y: 0

as return which means pixel not found.

I also tried

AutoItX.PixelSearch(new Rectangle(0,0, 1920, 1080), 0x1B4F9B, 0, 1)

still the same thing.

even this

AutoItX.PixelSearch(new Rectangle(0,0, 2, 2), AutoItX.PixelGetColor(1,1))

returns empty Point

Using the latest version btw.

Which application do you try to automate?

Pixelsearch is a slow and not always reliable method. Maybe we can provide a better solution.

Thanks for the response. I do have alternative ways to get the job done, worst case senario I will just loop thru all the pixels in c# by myself. But just want you guys to know that this bug exists~

The best way to tell us about a bug is to create an entry in the BugTracker.
