BBQJoe Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I just upgraded from version 3.3.8 to 3.3.14 and have the following issues;1. The default icon for a complied exe and the au3 file has always been the circled A symbol. Now a newly created exe has a completely different icon - is this the expected behavior now? Attached is a screenshot2. When I build an exe that has #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y in it, the icon turns to the unknown windows icon. If I rem this out the exe shows the "new" icon3. all the exe's I build with version 14 no longer anything on the details tab of the properties page. This used to show that it was an autoit script and it showed version 3.3.8 Sorry if this is such a newb question.. I tried searching these forums but found nothing.

As for setting various "properties" you can use #pragma directives or show us what you're using exactly. BBQJoe Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 And I'll add my "duh" moment here on my #2 issue above.... The #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y statement makes the exe a 64 bit exe only, and I am using XP.. so showing the file as unknown and not executable n my XP is the correct response. In version 8, it did not have this correct behavior so I was just momentarily lost..

matwachich Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Always about the executable icon :Why does compiled exe actually have an icon in it's ressources!?Adding an icon that is the same as the standard windows icon for exes makes no sens IMHO :\
