ViciousXUSMC Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 I was wondering if it was possible to speed up DirCopy(). I have a few programs that have semi-large folders that need to be updated. Normally I run my update scripts off the network share location and this can be rather slow depending on the device.The directory is copied to more than one location, so what happens is that the read from the network occurs more than one time.I know I could fashion my script so that DirCopy() pulls the files down to the local drive one time, and then copies from the drive on the next copy function, but I figured there was some intelligent/alternative ways to do something like this such as copy to memory this way I do not even need to slow down the disk by having it read/write to itself for the secondary DirCopy() calls.
