Hi.

I have several scripts, that each use multiple Word macros (open a text file in MS Word and execute several macros).

Now I want the script to check if these macros exist before executing them and if not give response to the user, that they have to install these macros first.

Maybe someone may help me with this issue? I'm pretty stuck.

I already managed to check if MS Word is installed:

If RegRead("HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\winword.exe","Path") = "" Then
MsgBox($MB_OK, "Title", "Word ist not installed. Quitting here.")
   Exit
EndIf

Thanks for you help.

IIRC there has been a similar discussion some time ago about checking for a macro and deleting it when beein found. Please search the forum for this thread.
