Get text from 24x80 screen

4 posts in this topic

Hi All,

Trying to start using AutoIt and have a problem. My script must work with application "Personal Communications iSeries Access for Windows" which is windows app with text mode inside. I successfully can send keys to app but could not get entire text.  Tried ControlGetText and WinGetText. I need the text to parse it.

Does anybody advice how to get entire text of screen?

Thanks.

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum!

As far as I know PC provides an API to access the emulator window.
Can this API be accessed using COM?
