How to use checkboxes?

Hello.

This topic might be simple for you. I just want to know how to use checkboxes - when checked do function from timer, if not checked stop function.
 

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit

       Case $CheckBox1
             _Timer_SetTimer($form1,270,"timer1func")


    EndSwitch
WEnd

It should be something like that:
 

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit

       Case $CheckBox1
          If _IsChecked($Checkbox1) Then
             _Timer_SetTimer($form1,270,"Timer1Func")
          Else
             MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "The checkbox is not checked.", 0, $hGUI)
             EndIf


    EndSwitch
WEnd

right? 

It's writing that there is error in my script in this line:  If _IsChecked($Checkbox1) Then

Anyway.. in "Else" I have a msgbox... how can I stop a timer?

Did you add the _IsChecked function from the help file to your script?

Again the help file is your friend. For every function in the help file there is a "Related" section where you find other functions. _Timer_KillTimer should do what you want.
