Backup Folders

Hi Forum

I have problems finding a way to disable creation of backup folders.

Am I just blind :-)

@DennisChristensen,

if you refer to the subfolder "BackUp" that is created when you use the Tidy utility on a script, then this cannot be disabled, but you can create a dedicated folder and redirect all the backed-up files to it, so it won't clutter your work folders. see Help > SciTE Help > Contents tab > Extra Utilities > Tidy , scroll down to Setting Tidy's options (Tidy.ini) and put the parameter backupDir into use.

In addition you could reduce the number of backup files to keep by setting "/kv n". If n is set to 0 then all versions are kept.
