_Excel_Close and don't save

_Excel_Close is set to False for save changes but it doesn't seem to be working.  Excel is stuck at the save yes/no/cancel prompt.

LOL oops.  I set it to true to test.  Changed it back to false.

 

_Excel_Close($oExcel,False,True)

Still having trouble.  it looks like this line is the culprit.

$oExcel.Run("MB51_Extract")

If i comment it out _Excel_Close works as expected and doesn't save.  

Any ideas why running the macro will show the save yes/no/cancel prompt.

Depends on what the macro does.

The macro logs into SAP, exports data to .xls, copy data from .xls to the .xlsm.

The AutoIt script stores some data to an array.  At this point I have what I need and don't need the .xlsm saved to that's why I want to close without saving.

Another idea is to save the workbook with a new name to a temporary location and then delete the file.
