Hazpartame Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Hello, I created a program that copies all the data from the active directory and copies them into an intranet page. I finished my script, but I'd like to improve it. I force my users to run the active directory search before the AutoIT script takes over. I can't find a keyboard shortcut... There is one, but it only looks for computers and not people (see screen 1). Now what I want is to open the window in screen 2. Opinions? Do you know a shortcut? Thank you in advance!!!
Subz Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 You could use Waters AD UDF to create a collection of users and or computers https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/106163-active-directory-udf/ However if you want to use AD Search functionality the shortcut would be: Users - Alt+d U Computers - Alt+d C
Hazpartame Posted April 16, 2018 Author Posted April 16, 2018 (edited) It does not work... The wrong shortcut is CTRL + WINDOWS + F, but it only searches for computers. I wish to search for Users, contacts... Thx : ( I cannot use this UDF because i need to use e-mail to know @UserName Edited April 16, 2018 by Hazpartame
water Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Something like this? #include <AD.au3> ; Open Connection to the Active Directory _AD_Open() If @error Then Exit MsgBox(16, "Active Directory Example Skript", "Function _AD_Open encountered a problem. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) ; ***************************************************************************** ; Example 3 ; Use ANR (Ambigous Name Resolution) to get all objects with the same given Name ; as the current user in the ANR-supported attribute fields. ; Searches the whole domain. ; ***************************************************************************** Global $sMail = "GivenName.Name@Company.com" ; <== Replace with real email!! $aObjects = _AD_GetObjectsInOU("", "(ANR=" & $sMail & ")", 2, "sAMAccountName,GivenName,sn,mail") _ArrayDisplay($aObjects) My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs: Active Directory (NEW 2024-07-28 - Version 1.6.3.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki ExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts OutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki OutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - Download Outlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki PowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki Task Scheduler (2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs: Excel - Example Scripts - Wiki Word - Wiki Tutorials: ADO - Wiki WebDriver - Wiki
