Get AutoIt script's result from Powershell - (Moved)

Hi,

I'm using AutoIt since like 3 days and I can't find a way to solve my problem. I got a Powershell script that course some files from a FTP server and send every files's content  to an AutoIt script. Then, the AutoIt use the data for SAP (But this is not important) and then need to send back a boolean value telling if the work went well or not to the powershell, who gonna send an email to someone to informe him of the problem. But, I dont know how to get like a "return value" of the AutoIt script from Powershell. If someone could help me it would be great. Sorry for my english.

How many lines do your Powershell scripts have?
It might be easier to convert everything to AutoIt. Because handling FTP servers, sending mails and even SAP is possible using AutoIt.

As I know nothing about PowerShell I can just give this little advice

If I understand you correct you want to start an AutoIt program from PowerShell and get an return code from your AutoIt program to PowerShell?

AutoIt (Test.exe):
 

; just return 55
Exit 55

 

PowerShell:

$p = Start-Process D:\Test.exe -wait -NoNewWindow -PassThru
$p.HasExited
$p.ExitCode

$p.ExitCode  contains the return value of Test.exe   (55)
