Drop image in gui

Hello everyone ,i hope u have nice day..

I wonder is possible to do program which search on server disk  in a specific folders image by name and after i drop  or double click it return information like size in cm x cm , dpi , and maybe mode (cmyk or rgb)

There are some ways of doing this, it depends on how you want the mechanics to be.

The app can be running in background waiting for clicks, to then check the image properties, or it may require a drag and drop into the gui, or it can be only called when you select it's specific context menu item after selecting the image in question.. if it's to be called on a double click, i guess you would select the app as default, or even while running in background detect the double click and read the image.. so you see, there's a lot. Oh, one more, a gui that reads all images in the folder and shows it in a listview.
