In creating a UDF header, I began SciTE > Tools > Make UDF header. I then followed the guidelines in the Wiki. Now I would like to check it for acceptability of the formatting. Is there a script I can run to see the UDF in a browser?

A second related question: How can I link to another UDF in a header?

There are some tools available to check and then extract the UDF header into another format. This is then used to create the help file.
I have downloaded a tool from the german forum which converts the UDF header into an HTML help file (please check OutlookEX.htm in my OutlookEX UDF).

If you like I can post the tools here.

This thread describes as well where to download.

The HTML tool can be found here: https://autoit.de/index.php?thread/83359-htmhelp-automatische-udf-dokumentation-04-08-2015-1-1-0/&postID=679823#post679823

Francesco: I know that function names in the Related section are automatically converted to links. But I see one in the Parameters section of Help for _WinNet_EnumResources. How can I do this kind of thing in a UDF header?

And: I tried <at sign>FrancescoDiMuro but the cursor got stuck after the last o. What is the trick to doing this?

@FrancescoDiMuro No, when manually typing the @ sign followed by the user name. Sometimes after selecting the name from the list of matching users, the cursor gets "stuck" and you can't type anything into the editor.

That is what happened to me. I am thinking that one should avoid indicating who one is answering with the at sign.

Regarding the link in a section of a UDF header other than "Related": please look at the Help for  _WinNet_EnumResources. In the Parameters  section I see that _WinEnumResources is a link. How did the author of this UDF get this to be a link?

water:

I did not find what I need to be able to display a UDF header in Firefox (or IE).

In creating the UDF headers, I have tried to follow the instructions in www.autoitscript.com/wiki/UDF-spec. Now  I would like to be sure that what I have written would convert properly to HTML. So I need the tool that converts UDF headers from the format in the Wiki to html.

You offered to post a link to such a tool. Please do so. Danke. My UDF header has tables, continuation lines, etc. Also I am confused regarding what spaces in a UDF header are ignored.

I tried following the link but got confused, perhaps because the link is to the German forum.

Thank you. I will now need to figure out how to adapt it to convert one UDF header to an HTML file. I do not see any documentation.
