frank10 Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Using Excel UDF I can make an entire cell bold with: local $oLen = $oWB.Worksheets("Analisi").Range("T3") $olen.Font.Bold = True , but how to select a part of the text cell to make it bold and the rest text normal?
Subz Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Using Excel record a macro, then convert it to AutoIt, for example look at ActiveCell.Characters.
frank10 Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 (edited) Thank you. This did it: local $active = $oWB_KW.Worksheets( "AnalisiKW").Cells(25,"D").Select with $oExcel.ActiveCell.Characters(8,6) .Font.Bold = True EndWith Edited October 13, 2020 by frank10
water Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 (edited) No need to use select (as this modifies the GUI). #include <Excel.au3> Global $oExcel = _Excel_Open() ; Start up Excel Global $oWorkbook = _Excel_BookNew($oExcel) ; Create a new workbook _Excel_RangeWrite($oWorkbook, 1, "Text in bold", "A1") ; Write text to cell A1 Global $oCell = $oWorkbook.Worksheets(1).Range("A1") ; Grab the object of cell A1 $oCell.Characters(1,4).Font.Bold = True ; Set the first 4 characters of this cell to bold Edited October 13, 2020 by water My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs: Active Directory (NEW 2024-07-28 - Version 1.6.3.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki ExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts OutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki OutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - Download Outlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki PowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki Task Scheduler (2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs: Excel - Example Scripts - Wiki Word - Wiki Tutorials: ADO - Wiki WebDriver - Wiki
