Omkar Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Hi I am trying to open excel file from from a specific location and do some action I have done Local $sText = WinGetTitle("[ACTIVE]") to get the text of current opened excel window and tried to trim the text Local $sString = StringTrimRight($sText, 8) and get the actual filename but I am trying to open that file again doing Global $oWorkbook = _Excel_BookOpen($oExcel_1, $sText) but not able to pass the actual filename as filename is not constant to open it If you do not understand the idea that I'm looking for, I can put an exampleThanks in advance
pseakins Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Can you give us an example of the actual text received. Why are you trimming exactly 8 chars? Phil Seakins
