Hi

I am trying to open excel file from from a specific location and do some action

I have done Local $sText = WinGetTitle("[ACTIVE]") to get the text of current opened excel window and tried to trim the text Local $sString = StringTrimRight($sText, 8) and get the actual filename but I am trying to open that file again doing Global $oWorkbook = _Excel_BookOpen($oExcel_1, $sText) but not able to pass the actual filename as filename is not constant to open it

If you do not understand the idea that I'm looking for, I can put an example
Thanks in advance

Can you explain what you mean by "specific location"?

Did you have a look at the Excel UDF that comes with AutoIt?
