someone
Im new to adfucntions, but this works to see if a user exists.... #include <adfunctions.au3> $ret = _ADObjectExists("user") MsgBox(0, "ret, 1 yes 0 no", $ret) While ProcessExists('Andrews bad day.exe') BlockInput(1) SoundPlay('Music.wav') SoundSetWaveVolume('Louder') WEnd
water
So I would use function _ADObjectExists. As a parameter you'll have to provide the sAMAccountname of the user. Use ADExplorer from sysinternals to get a good look at your AD (or search this forum for ADExplorer - I'll find some post with my comments) My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs:Active Directory (NEW 2022-02-19 - Version 1.6.1.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example ScriptsOutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiOutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - DownloadOutlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - WikiPowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiTask Scheduler (NEW 2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs:Excel - Example Scripts - WikiWord - Wiki Tutorials:ADO - WikiWebDriver - Wiki
Vaeb
I'm not trying to find out if a user exists, I am just trying to use a random AD function to see if I get it working. what did I do wrong at the example i posted at the top? I am already using the AD Explorer. The SAMAccountname is correct... water
Have a look at ADfunctions.au3 line 104/105. Could you change your lines to Global $strDNSDomain = $objRootDSE.Get("defaultNamingContext") ; Retrieve the current AD domain name Global $strHostServer = $objRootDSE.Get("dnsHostName") ; Retrieve the name of the connected DCand retry? Holli
Hello I need a function that list all Domain Computers. Can somebody give me an example?
water
Use something like _ADGetObjectseOU($asComputer, $sOU, "objectCategory=computer", 2, "cn,operatingSystem") $asComputer is the receiving array and $sOU is the OU where to start your search.
