Coffeng Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Hey! I just started scripting Autoit and Im currently trying to make a program that takes the text from my input-box and write it into notepad. I've read in the help-file alot, but can't find what function to use. This is the code, so far it's only opening notepad. #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <EditConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= $Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 623, 89, 192, 124) $Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("Input1", 16, 8, 521, 21) $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 544, 8, 73, 73, $WS_GROUP) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Button1 run ("notepad.exe") EndSwitch WEnd How would you solve it? Regards /C.
