lbrtdy Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Currently my script starts up trying to load a file (DB.txt) and then places it in a list. $ListDB = GUICtrlCreateList("", 168, 24, 169, 214) ;Load Database if not _FileReadToArray("DB.txt",$DB) Then MsgBox(0,"Error","Can not find DB.ini or its empty") Else for $i = 1 to $DB[0] GUICtrlSetData($ListDB,$DB[$i]) Next EndIf The user can then add stuff to the list via input boxes etc etc. The problem is my trying to save the entire contents of the list back to the DB.txt file. I tried GUIctrlread the handle but that only returns whats highlighted and not the entire contents of the list. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
water Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) You could use the GuiListBox UDF that is part of AutoIt. Have a look at _GUICtrlListBox_GetCount to get the number of items in the list and then you can loop through the list and use _GUICtrlListBox_GetText to get the value of every item.
