jazzyjeff Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Hello, I am just wondering if it is possible to use a wildcard for the function _AD_DisablePasswordExpire in the AD.au3 file? Here is my script: #include <AD.au3> _AD_Open() Global $user = 'CN="",OU=EL Students,OU=Students,OU=domain Users,DC=domain,DC=net' Global $valueAcc = _AD_SetAccountExpire($user,'2011-06-30') If $valueAcc = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "Account Expiration", "User expiration has successfully changed") ElseIf @error = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "User error", "User '" & $user & "' does not exist") Else MsgBox(64, "Active Directory Error", "Return code '" & @error & "' from Active Directory") EndIf Global $valuePWexp = _AD_SetPasswordExpire($user,-1) If $valuePWexp = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "Password expiration", "The passwords have been successfully changed to not expire") ElseIf @error = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "User error", "User '" & $user & "' does not exist") Else MsgBox(64, "Active Directory Error", "Return code '" & @error & "' from Active Directory") EndIf Global $valuePW = _AD_DisablePasswordExpire($user) If $valuePW = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "Turn off password expiration", "User passwords are successfully changed to not expire") ElseIf @error = 1 Then MsgBox(64, "User error", "User '" & $user & "' does not exist") Else MsgBox(64, "Active Directory Error", "Return code '" & @error & "' from Active Directory") EndIf _AD_Close() I keep being told that the user CN="" does not exist. I know that the user doesn't exist, but I was hoping the LDAP name of CN="" would include all users. Is there a way to do this? Thanks, Jeff
water Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I am just wondering if it is possible to use a wildcard for the function _AD_DisablePasswordExpire in the AD.au3 file?No this is not possible. But you could use _AD_GetPasswordDontExpire() to get all the accounts with expiring passwords and then loop through the array and use _AD_DisablePasswordExpire on each of them.
