bouzzi 0 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) Hi, I need a script to be able to send a message to the user when a shutdown is initiated and abort this process. What function should I use to detect the shutdown on a PC and cancel it? KaFu 295 Posted September 10, 2010 AFAIK it is possible on XP but not on Win7. Using the $WM_QUERYENDSESSION message you can detect an imminent shutdown. Here is some reading on it on MSDN.
