You could use the $WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW extended parameter in the GUICreate like this

GuiCreate("test", 100, 100, -1, -1, $GUI_SS_DEFAULT_GUI, $WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW)

The only problem with using that is you don't have a taskbar icon and you can't ALT-Tab to the window, so it may get lost behind all of your other windows. If you wanted to get rid of just the minimize and maximize buttons you could use the $WS_SYSMENU parameter instead. That will give you a taskbar icon, and the left hand system menu style.

GUISetStyle($WS_CAPTION, $WS_BORDER)

Using that style you wouldn't have any buttons at all on the title bar, you'd have no "X". If that's the style you're looking for then you need to change what you pointed to in the first post, because you were asking to have everything gone but the "X" button, I assumed so that you could use it to close the window.

If you were interested in not having a title bar at all, you could also look at the $WS_POPUPWINDOW style, that gives you a borderless no titlebar window.

@GEOSoft

I would add the parent window that the icon was not present in the ALT+TAB window.

GUICreate($sTitle, $iWidth, $iHeight, $iXpos, $iYpos, BitOR($WS_CAPTION, $WS_SYSMENU), $WS_EX_DLGMODALFRAME, GUICreate('', -1, -1, -1, -1, -1, $WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW))

@Yashied

The problem I have there is it also hides the GUI when I use Alt + Tab. Other than that it's a great idea.

You may have to wait. I can't test it because I won't use x64 systems. Besides I thought you were a bit too flippant with Jos in the last reply. He is one of the people around here that you best treat with a lot of respect.
