Read from a list and execute

Hi all

Is there anybody who can help me?

this is my problem:

I have a text file with n lines like this:

GEDK123434

GEDK123653

GEDK170987

GEDK237690

How can I do to read every line from a .txt file and execute a command line for every line?

for example I want to repeat this command : $command = @ComSpec & " /c " & "C:\test.exe -c GEDK123434 >> log.txt"

who can help me ? maybe using an array or something like this to read from a list.txt and execute the command for every line.

I would suggest looking at _FileReadToArray("log.txt",$Array) in the Help File and then looping through.

Help with $command

For $i = 1 To $Array[0]
    $command = @ComSpec & " /c " & "C:\test.exe -c " & $Array[$i] & " >> log.txt"
Next

Any problems please post below. The example I have posted won't work yet, but I take it you have an idea of what to do from here

is there a way to add on the RunWait also the DOS command "echo %ERRORLEVEL%" ?

if I run another Runwait with the ECHO command didn't work

RunWait() with wait for the Process you are running to Finish.

$PID = RunWait(....

Man, this is perfect timing! Just searched for this exact same thing for myself. I'm running a DOS command against a bunch of workstations obtained from a text list.

superbosu, may I sugguest checking out the _RunDOS UDF (include Process.au3). This is cleaner as the return code is the actual return/error code of the command being run and will eliminate the DOS window being displayed. If you wanted a wait in there, you could do a dummy While on the return code of the _RunDOS command like:
