storme Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 G'day all I've got a customer that backs their data to USB stick and takes it off site. I showed them how easy it is to assign a drive (m:) that will be availabe always. Well that is what usualy happens. They have 3 sticks and if I assign one the other 2 revert to picking up the first available letter. I want to write a program that will look for the USB then change it's letter to M: so the office girls don't have to "think" about what drive to back up to. I know how to do set it using "disk management" but is there any way to do it using AutoIT? BTW it's an XP machine. Thanks in advance for any help!
