Clean/empty in side a text_file.txt?

i like to Clean/empty in side a text_file.txt so that i have a new line to write

there most not be any remains like enters... just like you create a new text file it always begins with line 1

how to do this?

FileOpen() and use Mode 2!

$File = FileOpen("Test.txt", 2)

that is if i am writing a new text

and if i use that there wil still be remains

Why not look at FileWriteLine()?

my text file looks like this:

text...

Spawn=true

text to say

this lines can run endlist

i read the file like this

line 1 =text...

line 2 =Spawn=true

line 3 =text to say

line 4 =this lines can run endlist

and if there is a other text it wil read it to thats why i need to clean it

the line 1 and 2 wil always be rewrited

line 3-<enslist> are different

yea there is a simple way FileDelete and FileCreate but i wana use the file that exist

FileOpen($File, 2) will "Erase the contents" if you Write to it.

$hFile = FileOpen("Test.txt", 2)
FileWrite($hFile,"Line 1" & @CRLF & "Line 2")
FileClose($hFile)

Then in the Help File look for _FileWriteToLine() if you want to Write to specific Line.
