guinness
I don't use IE, but when a new version is available it's always updated via Windows Update for me. But in the Help File look for ControlClick(), ControlSend() & Run() to get you on the right track. sleepydvdr
Many installers support silent switches. If you download the Internet Explorer installer that is an .msi package, use /qn for completely silent (no interface at all) or /qb for one that shows a progressbar. shellexecute ("setup_IE.msi /qn") If you use the .exe installer, use /quiet /passive. run ("setup_IE.exe /quiet /passive") Note: shellexecute is needed for .msi packages because they aren't executables. #include <ByteMe.au3>
