ready2drum Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 A few years ago, an executable file (.exe) was created by another person using AutoIt that worked just fine on my Windows XP computer, however, in the past week, I've gotten a new PC that has Windows 7 on it, and now the .exe file gives an error when I try to open it: "Unable to open file." I don't have access to the old computer that this .exe worked perfectly with. The .exe is on a mapped drive on the server (L:\) The executable file was set up to update a '.csv' file located in the same folder as the AutoIt '.exe' file. I don't think I have the source code files that went into creating that 'AutoIt' file (shf_change.exe)...the only other option would be to find a program that can 'decompile' the .exe file so that I can see the code used for calling and updating that 'shf_last.csv' file.
