Crevier
Wondering if there's an easy way to restore the default file associations and right-click options for AutoIT. I've read a number of related forum discussions, but most seem to be for custom needs. I've been using AutoIT for years, and I've got a new computer (win7), and the file associations just never setup correctly. I'm wanting a double click on a ".au3" file to run the script. And I also want the right click options like edit, compile, etc. I re-ran the install, during which it prompted me for how I want to handle "au3" files. I told it that I want it to run the script, but it just opens in Notepad. I figure that if the install is able to setup the associations, then perhaps there's also an independent way to do it outside of the install. So, I'm hoping to maybe find a ".reg" file that has all the proper default settings. Or maybe an autoit script that does the job. ??
