Trapping a specific window

People,

There are 2 windows of the same name. How can I grab the correct one? The size and content differ in each. Is there a list of open windows I can access, loop through and grab it this way?

I have tried several ways of doing this... and failed.

All help is appreciated.

What ways have you tried so far? I don't know about content but you could use WinGetPos() to determine the size and location of the window(s).

Hmm. I cannot see how this would work as wingetpos() requires that you already have the window as a reference to this function. Ideally, I want something like this:

For each open window

if window = this_name and edit2 = this_text then

do stuff

exit loop

end if

Next

The window validation I can do. I just don't know how to cycle through each window.
