This doesn't cause an error >>

For $i = 1 To 3
    If $i = 2 Then
        ContinueLoop
    EndIf
Next
MsgBox(0, "", $i)

Perhaps post a bug report?

Works in 3.3.6.1, but errors in 3.3.8, they might have broken it when they fixed the continueloop function.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Hi,

It works if ContinueLoop has something to jump over:

For $i = 1 To 3
    If $i = 2 Then ContinueLoop
    ConsoleWrite("Loop: " & $i & @CRLF)
Next
ConsoleWrite("End: " & $i & @CRLF)

It fails if you comment out the line which is skipped when $i = 2. So the error is actually telling you that you have an unnecessary ContinueLoop. ;)

If you decide to open a Trac ticket, I would add that additional information. :)
