Can someone point me toward info on how to set up a help system (F1) and how to link it to autoit?

To help you more information is needed. Some questions that come to my mind:

Do you need the help system for an application you've written yourself?

What kind of help system (CHM, html ...)?

What do you mean by "link it to AutoIt"?

For a script I have written myself.

I'd say html because I mostly know the commands of that.

By link it I mean, make it so that pressing F! brengs it up (like 'real' apps)

From the above you can tell I know nothing about how help systems are crafted, but that has never stopped me before.

I have once used a PDF file to show the (short) help for a tool I've made.

The loop after showind the GUI looks like this:

While 1
    $Msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $Msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case _IsPressed("70")
            ShellExecute("ADQU.PDF")
    EndSelect
WEnd

You could also use GUISetHelp which will call a program when you press F1.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
