idoru Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 I appreciate that this is somewhat off topic but anyhoo, I'm moving to a new job soon where VBS is used instead of AutoIt. Tee greatest weapon I ever had in my AutoIt arsenal was the help file. It is quite possible the best piece of documentation ever written and took me from complete ignorance to, I like to think, a reasonable level of competence. If you have an employer that is at least half-way open minded, you can show him the benefits of AutoIT over VBS. I recently began a contract at a hospital to migrate a couple of endpoint management systems. Their desktop administration team was heavily entrenched in VBS and WinBatch, but I was able to show with a very few scripts how powerful AutoIT really is.
