run function at startup

Hey,

How is it posible to run a function, when the program starts (gui opens)? not when i click a button etc. just when the program starts

Just call the function at the top of your script? Or do I misunderstand your question?

Just put the function call above the rest of the code.

includes etc
_MyFunc()
$MyGui = guicreate etc etc

Func _MyFunc()
;What i need to do first
EndFunc ;== _MyFunc

It will call it before loading the gui

But bear in mind if its a monster func you will get a big delay before the gui opens

"Variable used without being declared." must be because its running the function, before i knows the rest of the content of the file?

The function call other functions.

Usually you put all variable definitions and #include directives at the top of the script. Then you call your functions.

So you make sure that you don't get the message you see now.
