Search for a word in a column of a Excel sheet

Greetings,

I am looking for a script to search for a specific word in a specific column of an opened Excel document.

Once he found the word that i'm looking, I need to see all ligne with that specific word inside.

I try many many script from this forum but I still can not find a solution to what I am looking for.

Any help will be a lot appreciated.

Hi brucebru, welcome to the forum. You mention you have tried many scripts from this forum, how about posting what you have so far? We are not in the business of writing code for you, but we're happy to help. To begin with, I would suggest some light reading in the help file under _Excel, or you can use Water's great ExcelEX UDF:

You could have a look at my ExcelEX UDF (for download please check my signature). Function _Excel_RangeFind should do what you want.

But be warned: Its an early alpha version subject to changes!
