This >thread in the Example Scripts section should be a good starting point.

Thank you i was searching that thread but there seemed to be errors with the files so i tought there would be an updated file somewhere like an official repository  >_<

Thanks for ur time

What am i doing wrong here

#include <ImageSearch.au3>

HotKeySet("S", 'Start')

$X = 0
$Y = 0

Func Start()
   $Search = _ImageSearch('launch_1.bmp', 0, $X, $Y, 0)
   If $Search = 1 Then
      MouseMove($X, $Y,8)
   EndIf
EndFunc

while 1
   Sleep(215)
   WEnd

I press S and nothing happens

>"C:Program Files (x86)AutoIt3SciTE..autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:UsersSushiDesktopFirstBScript.au3"

>Process failed to respond; forcing abrupt termination...
>Exit code: 1    Time: 32.110

I read the posts in the mentioned thread but i did not understand the solution he gave.

I can't figure it out so i'm changing to pixel search instead but can anyone tell me how i were to randomize the click area, let's say

Instead of only clicking (0,0,123,123,0xD12345)

It would randomize the area of (123,123) by an amount of 1-3?

Edit: After reading the faq i understand i can use;

MouseClick("left",Random(0,@DesktopWidth,1),Random(0,@DesktopHeight,1))

Does this work on pixel search as well?

If yes can someone provide an example?

Kellyle,

i tought there would be an updated file somewhere like an official repository

Only the core AutoIt functions and the UDFs installed along with AutoIt in the Include folder are maintained by the AutoIt team - UDFs that are posted in the Examples section are maintained by the authors alone. :)
